WHAT IS A BUDDAH BOWL?
Honestly, that’s a good question. Even though I love, love, LOVE meal prepping them ALL THE TIME, I had (past tense because I just learned 10 minutes) no idea what qualifies a buddah bowl as a buddah bowl.
This below excerpt sums it up pretty well:
"Really the main goal of a buddha bowl recipe is to eat as many colors and nutrient dense foods as possible. No two buddha bowls have to be the same, so tailor your Buddha bowl to your taste preferences and get creative! Words of wisdom- when in doubt, if it’s a whole food, add it to your bowl." MEAL PREPPING BUDDAH BOWLS
Buddah bowls are easy to meal prep and even easier to reheat. Throwing vegetables on a one sheet and throwing them into the oven couldn’t be any easier for a meal prep. Of course you have to spend about an hour chopping veggies, BUT you will save yourself a lot of time and headaches during the weekday.
I can throw all my favorites in one bowl and call it a day. Not much thinking and planning goes behind a Buddah bowl.

DINNER INSPIRATION
I love browsing Pinterest before heading to the grocery store to see what’s calling my name, and many times, it has been buddah bowls. I gathered some of my favorites and as you can see, they are very similar but also different at the same time and there is no wrong or right way to make one.
WHY I MEAL PREP
Having solid meals to eat makes me RIDICULOUSLY happy. Nothing brings down my mood and energy like coming home after practice and not having anything good to eat or a plan. Making good foods and having a plan is self-care for me so it’s worth my time and effort on Sundays to meal prep for the week.
